"She laughs without fear of the future"
I’m pretty good at throwing eggs that just won’t break..
There are a few things that I have with me at all times.
1. My engagement right. I only take it off when I shower, and even then I generally leave it on.
2. My “courage stone,” a stone with a quote about being courageous that my mother gave to me just before he found out about her breast cancer.
3. My two combined tattoos. I knows it’s impossible to take them off without surgery or whatever, but I still consider them something I keep with me. My first heart is for my friend who committed suicide two years ago. The second heart and words “you are enough” and a reminded to myself that I am enough to survive.
4. My dried rose from Cassie’s funeral is in my car at all times within my sight. It reminds me that life is short and even shorter if I allow it to affect me that way.
I keep you with me at all times, Cassie. I keep my courage and my positive thoughts. I keep my biggest support on my left hand and in my heart. Will all that I have been given, I can fight for my life like I’ve never fought before. I am a survivor.
The thought of having children really scares me today.
And it makes me smile. I just want you too smile too.
